Who We Are

Rolling with the Napa Valley community.

Our Story

Welcome to Wheel Life Napa — a place where roller skating, music, and community come together in the heart of Downtown Napa.

We created Wheel Life Napa with a simple idea: give our community a fun, active place where kids, families, friends, and visitors can connect, get moving, and make lasting memories.

What started as a vision has become something much bigger, and we're excited to call Napa Yard our home.

Rooted in Napa

We're Napa Valley locals, parents, neighbors, and friends who believe our community deserves more places to get out, get moving, and have fun together.

Wheel Life was born from our love of the classic roller rink experience and our desire to bring it to a new generation.

From first-time skaters finding their balance to parents getting back on skates after years away, we want Wheel Life to be a place where memories are made.

This is a locally built business, and we're proud to be creating something for Napa, by people who call Napa home.

A Fun & Safe Place for Everyone

Our goal is to create an environment where skaters of all ages can feel comfortable, have fun, and enjoy being active.

We're committed to:

  • A Positive Atmosphere: Great music, friendly staff, and a welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Active Fun: A place to put down the screens, lace up some skates, and get moving.
  • Family & Friends: An experience that kids, teens, parents, and friends can enjoy together.
  • Safety First: Trained staff, established rink rules, maintained equipment, and an environment designed with skater safety in mind.

Meet the Founders

Wheel Life Napa was founded by Rick Gudgel and Logan Bain, who worked together to bring a dedicated roller-skating experience to the Napa Valley community.

We're proud of what we've built, grateful for the support we've received, and excited to welcome everyone through our doors.

Our Home at Napa Yard

Wheel Life Napa is proud to call Napa Yard home.

Located at 585 First Street in Downtown Napa's Oxbow District, Napa Yard brings together recreation, entertainment, food, drinks, and community in one of Napa's most unique gathering spaces.

Our open-air rink fits right into that experience — giving locals and visitors another reason to spend the day at the Oxbow, meet up with friends, bring the family, and enjoy everything the area has to offer.

We're excited to grow alongside Napa Yard and help create a destination that brings more fun, more activity, and more reasons to get together in Downtown Napa.

Our Community & Industry Partners

Wheel Life wouldn't be possible without the businesses, organizations, and people who believe in creating more opportunities for recreation and entertainment in Napa Valley.

Napa Yard

Our partnership with Napa Yard gives Wheel Life a permanent home in the heart of the Oxbow District and allows us to be part of a larger destination built around bringing people together.

We're proud to be part of what Napa Yard is creating and look forward to growing Wheel Life here for years to come.

Roller Skating Association

Wheel Life Napa is a member of the Roller Skating Association, connecting us with rink operators and industry resources from across the country.

Our membership helps us stay connected with industry standards, safety practices, training resources, and the broader roller-skating community.
